I want to get a synthetic stock woodland camo painted , holes filled and forearm strengthened. Is there anyone that does this service?
Yes I know I could try and tackle it myself but I know my limitations and a Artist I'm not
Thanks

Karsten's is probably your best bet.

I think SixTGunner (member here and XO at Hawk's board) is doing some work again...

I'm sure others will chime in with more options.

I have tried to contact Karsten many times, he replied to a e-mail once then never again. Must not be doing stocks anymore?

I have a wood stock , and thinking about going to a synthetic stock from Freds stocks so i can paint it camo. Do the syn-stocks have a textured surface at the forearm and behind the trigger or are they all smooth surface ? I want the tex-or ruff type surface type of stock . Cant find any pics of GI syn-stocks from Freds .posting.php?mode=reply&f=1&t=8472#

There is checkering on the grip and forward stock area of the fiberglass USGI stocks.
