Browning X-Bolt Pro

The X-Bolt Pro is available in four different calibers. The calibers are 6.5 Creedmoor, .308 Win, .30-06 Springfield and 300 Win Mag. Depending on how well these models sell, the company may introduce additional calibers in the future. Standard models have a four round detachable magazine. The magnum gun uses a three round magazine.

Also remembering John M. Browning worked extensively at FN. I don't recall reading of him being involved with the X-Bolt or a rifle that led to it, but I do recall reading that FN made the Mauser Model 1950... short action in 7.62 for the Israelis. I recall seeing H.C. Higgins branded Mauser action sporters on gunbroker being FN. I also read about them reworking Finland's captured MN 91/30's including heavy barrels. Also, Interarms Mark X, I recall seeing stamped FN.

I'm pretty certain those were imported from Yugoslavia, made by Zastava.

I was eyeballing those to build a hunting rifle for about a year.

Eventually gave up and bought a new Winchester M70 instead (also owned by FN :D ).

I won't say some of those weren't Yugoslavian. I recall some Zastava-made guns Charles Daly imported... come to think of it, they looked real similar.
