I just got two in this week... a chogan (w/ hammer head) and a kangee (w/ a spike)... from Midway.

Anybody here own either of those?

Anybody ever throw 'em? If so, how do they seem to compare with other hawks?

These are a tad pricier than Cold Steel's offerings, but I also wonder how quality stacks up there.

Have had a Kangee for about a year.

Very versatile, even the spike is useful for splitting a piece of kindling. Handle is very strong and fits my hand well.

I do throw hawks occasionally, not tried it yet with this one.

The spike is uncomfortable to me when using the flat blade, seems to be headed for my face. I can see an accident waiting. I keep the rubber guard on it when using/carrying it.

Overall very useful.
