Quag, from some of the "experts" that I've seen at gun-shows, they think that an "M1 is an M1", be that Garand, Carbine, or Thompson. They're so cute as they display their knowledge. Like a Fourth Grader tellinmg you about his history lessons. Lots of assurance, a little less knowledge. :!:

Heck, I'd be willing to bet that some of them would lump the original Abrahms into the group. :?: :)

Van, where is the Star Model B, and the Model A Super? Separate weapons. Then, there's the Sterling 400 series in .32 ACP and .380 ACP.........and so on. :?: :)

Accept it for what they know.
The carbine had a special purpose and handled it well.
They must have been liked as they are reproduced even today.
It is funny how some of the older weapons are now popular again.
Keep them coming back.
