This is the best shooting 9MM I own or have ever fired. A CZ P09 I bought a couple years ago and really just don't get to shoot often enough (my every day carry is my CZ P07).

I took the plunge awhile back and ordered the RMR from some folks who kept saying they were going to start doing the machining work to install RMRs on CZs but so far just never got around to it.

I ran across some other folks, on another forum, that had posted some pictures of CZs they'd installed RMRs on, but with no rear back up sight. They were removing the rear sight and machining it out to open up the area for the RMR. CZ Custom was doing the same thing.

I want a back up sight. The RMR I bought isn't electronic (uses the daylight to light up the dot with fiber optics or a tritium source to light it up when there isn't enough daylight) but I still wanted back up on a carry gun (I don't do competition stuff).

Anyway, I shipped the gun of to an outfit called Primary Machine, and got it back a couple weeks later with the RMR installed, the taller sights installed (for back up) and the slide cerakoted in Magpul OD Green.

I hope to finally get to shoot it tomorrow.

Yeah, I remember the days when a box of pistol ammo was 50 rounds.

The first time I walked into a store and saw a 20 round box of pistol ammo it amazed me. I mean, why would anyone buy a 20 round box of pistol ammo. Then I saw the price on the 20 round box and I was reminded of one of the reasons I reload my own ammo.

Hopefully going to the range in the morning to shoot this one. See if any sight adjustments are needed on a 9MM top end I bought for my .40 S&W P07 a couple years ago (changed sights on it yesterday). And I've got some more test loads for the 18" AR15. If time allows I have another AR15 that needs to be sighted it, too.

Got it to the range this morning. Won't post all the pictures. Just a couple.

First shows the first 5 shots through the gun using the iron sights (larger group) and the second 5 shots using the RMR (smaller group up above the first group.)

This picture shows the sighting in. First group of 3 shots is high left. I made another adjustment and shot at the company logo on the bottom right corner of the target and used the last 7 shells in the magazine. I cheated, too. I rested my fore arms on the table. I don't normally do that but I was making adjustments and wanted to try to rule out my shake/wobble.
