Haven't tried it yet , but I'm thinking of getting one.

I'm a traditionalist in IWB and OWB holsters, liking leather. Now, I do like Horse Leather for it's durability. Only in paddle holsters have I been finding Kydex to be a good choice in materials.

I've been looking at Alien Gear, and thinking about trying one of their models, same with N82 brand.

Alien Gear is a sponsor over on the Taurus Forum, and they have had a good response from the members there. :!:

Without bothering to check the website or watch the video, it looks like a knock-off of the crossbreed tuck series of IWB holsters.

There are subtle differences, like nylon clips instead of steel.

'Cloak Tuck 3.0' has their clips inboard instead of on the edge were the metal edges could rub against you love handles, or when your sitting down.

Also the clips have spacers between the paddle and don't clamp to the belt line, for easy holster detachment.

And best of all, 'Cloak Tuck 3.0' is $25.00 cheaper! :D

To be quite frank, aren't most leather, or Kydex, holsters simply knock-offs, too? Like the two in question, they vary only in small matters of construction.

The real estate for locating holsters is pretty well defined, as is the shape of the holster in the end. It's like calling a Smith & Wesson revolver a clone of a Colt because Sam got there first. :!:

Fair enough. :D

Last I heard, there was a healthy waiting period for the crossbreeds, too.

Sometimes success can be hard to cope with. When a type of item is an overnight success, the demand can cause long waits while they gear up. :!:
